Recently, I have been really enjoying wearing things I wouldn’t wear with my children in tote. Not because I don’t want to wear it with them around me, but more so that I am afraid I will not be able to bend down or tend to them without embarrassing myself. I am also a little on the taller side, so mini dresses and cocktails will hit me shorter. This is one of the things that changed post-babies and something I feel like I am super aware.
But when I get invited to a girls dinner or drinks or a show, I almost always wear a shorter dress and heels. I know I cannot get away with it as easily with my little children (which is fine, I mean that is just the season of life I’m in), so I sport the cute fun, things when I am with my gals. We all know they are the ones who care about it as much as you do anyway!
On another note, if you are a woman and are reading this, please text your girls for a dinner or girls trip or something! It is always needed and definitely refreshing for you to spend time with other women in your same wheelhouse.
