So, I really, really like interior design and decorating. I have a love for pattern, color, and collected looks. I believe that your decor should reflect you and what you love, as well as the home you fell in love with.

That being said, I have some tips I use in my own spaces, as well as relay to my friends when they need! These are easy things you can do now, and you most likely already have what you need. Styling your home, coffee table, bookshelf, sidebar, etc. can be overwhelming, but starting in one small area at a time can be way more encouraging.

Below is what goes on my brain while I am shopping to style something. I organize it into to specific category (the area in which I am shopping), so in this edit, you’ll see it is a commode type of deal. Then, what I am putting on top of it, around it, under it – all of the prepositions phrases 🤣. I love mixing texture, color, and patterns and I think it shows in this graphic.

I am also a big art lover. I LOVE mixing different types of art by stacking them on the wall, leaning them against walls, shelves, or on top of sideboards or commodes, and mixing them with personal photos or photography pieces.
